Abstract
- This study was conducted in the field of Agriculture College, Al-Muthanna University at the winter season 2016-2017 to study the effect of zeolite metal on the growth and yield of wheat (Triticm aestivum L.) on sandy and loamy soil. 6 levels of natural zeolite were used (0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1%) with 2 levels of the dissolved animal organic matter 0.2 and 0.4% on the growth and yield of wheat used as an indicator of growth in two different soils with three replicates for each, mix zeolite with organic material and soil in an anvil which it’s capacity (15-25 kg) to reach the size 2×2×6 in the experiment. The chemical fertilizer NPK was mixed with soil and zeolite according to the fertilizer recommendation of the wheat crop and for all the treatments. The wheat seeds were planted by the Maxibak class on 15/ 11/2016 and harvested on 15/4/2017. Results shows the application of zeolite, profoundly increased growth and yield parameters namely, meat plants root tillers per plant, plant height, stem diameter, spike number, weight of 1000 seeds. The level of 0.8% Zeolite with 0.4% organic material highest results and a significant difference from the rest of the levels in most of the characteristics of vegetative growth and yield of the wheat in both soil ,sand and the loamy ,sandy soil responded well when treated with zeolite and 0.4% organic matter.
