Transient osteoporosis of the hip: a novel vascular manifestation of COVID-19?

Abstract
- The article describes the case of a -year-old Caucasian man who developed transient hip osteoporosis in correlation with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) infection. He was tested positive for SARS-CoV2 and was given a short course of ibuprofen and acetylcysteine. Ibuprofen and paracetamol were also given to address worsening hip pain. Magnetic resonance imaging of the pelvis was done and a diagnosis of transient osteoporosis of the hip was established.
