Abstract
- The article focuses on a joint project called ORDIAmur that started in 2015 and is funded by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), which aims to develop management methods for soil fatigue or replanting disease in apples. It discusses testing of various management methods for dealing with soil fatigue in apples in three tree nurseries, including cover crop cultivation of marigolds, biofumigation with ProGrow Sarepta mustard seed flour, and the use of soil or plant additives.
