Abstract

Yet the three MBA treatment groups also fared no better than applications listing only a bachelor's degree, even for job postings that specifically mentioned a preference for master's degrees. One of the most prominent master's degrees is the Master of Business Administration (MBA), which accounts for one-fourth of master's degrees conferred. This study investigates the effects on children of a sweeping workplace immigration raid conducted in Tennessee in April 2018. Although highly exclusive MBA programs at institutions with an R1 Carnegie Classification receive a disproportionate share of media attention, the vast majority of MBA students are enrolled at non-R1 institutions.
