Low-Order Power System Frequency Response Models: A Review.

Frequency response analysis of power systems is important to predict their behavior when large disturbances occur. As power systems are large, simplified, low-order System Frequency Response (SFR) models are used for the analysis. With the widespread introduction of renewable energy sources, SFR models are enhanced to estimate allowable penetration levels to operate the power system securely.
