Abstract
- The article reports that the 'Freedom Convoy' protest in Ottawa, Canada in 2022 highlighted the importance of information literacy in understanding nuances and multiple perspectives. Topics include traditional research projects often focus on regurgitating facts, ignoring underlying complexities and nuances; and information literacy is needed to challenge biases and cultural influences shaping information.
