Abstract
- The article focuses on signal generators and discusses how they have evolved over time. In the past, analog signal generators had limited capabilities and had to be recalibrated periodically. Topics include digital integrated circuits and microprocessors with modern signal generators use digital synthesis to generate waveforms; and how different signal generators highlighting the manufacturers' main specifications and the inputs and outputs of the units.
