The article presents a report from the World Health Organization (WHO) on COVID-19 mortality and progress toward vaccinating older adults from 2020-2022. Topics discussed include impact of COVID-19 during the period, reported and estimated excess COVID-19-associated deaths, and ratio of excess COVID-19 mortality estimates to aggregate number of reported deaths.
