An interview with Günter Wallner, Professor of Game Computing at Johannes Kepler University of Linz, is presented. Topics discussed include his work on games user research and game analytics with the aim of improve the quality of games and the player experience; development of a visualization to show behavioral data to triangulate with thinking-aloud data and physiological data and work on the basis of large amounts of data with players and their gaming behavior.
