Abstract
- The article offers information on frog and salamander stamps issued by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) between 1941 and 1995. The NWF stamp series was inspired by "duck stamps," with early issues designed by cartoonist and conservationist Jay Norwood Darling. Between 1941 and 1995, a total of 44 seals were issued by NWF that featured amphibians, including 19 species of frogs and 11 species of salamanders.
