THE COMBINED EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE AND LIGHT VARIATION ON SOME QUALITY PARAMETERS IN CHERRY TOMATOES.

The study was conducted under controlled conditions in a greenhouse during a crop cycle during September-April. The culture was established on a coconut substrate. All parameters of vegetation, temperature, light, humidity, carbon dioxide content in the greenhouse were monitored. Fruit mass determinations were performed on each inflorescence, as well as carbohydrate and nitrate content. The production obtained by fruiting stages was determined as well as the total production. The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of some parameters of growth and fruiting on the total production and its quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
