Abstract

Those with anaphylaxis to food or with spontaneous anaphylaxis reported a bigger impact on their anaphylaxis-specific QoL compared to those with medication or venom as a cause. Poorer anaphylaxis-specific QoL (as measured by the A-QoL-Adults) significantly related to greater anxiety ( I r i = .69), depression ( I r i = .54), stress ( I r i = .38) and poorer generic physical ( I r i = -.50), psychological ( I r i = -.45), social ( I r i = -.36) and environmental QoL ( I r i = -.48).
