Therefore, the dose of 0.05 mg flumazenil for our patient might be sufficiently high as an initial dose to titrate the adequate dose, because it could be considered as nearly half that of the commonly accepted standard dose. Considering the generally accepted initial dose of 0.2 mg flumazenil to antagonize the sedative effect of benzodiazepine and the patient body size, we decided to administer 0.05 mg flumazenil as an initial dose for titration.
