Abstract
- Patients with Crohn's disease are at increased risk for developing adenocarcinoma of the small bowel and colon. Although several cases of gastric malignancy have been reported in patients with Crohn's disease, the association remains controversial, particularly because most patients have not had gastric Crohn's involvement. We report a patient with long-standing Crohn's disease, with gastric involvement, who developed adenocarcinoma of the gastric outlet. We discuss the association and include a review of the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
