Abstract

Kiwifruit is a kind of nutritious fruit, which is very perishable after harvest. Thus the preservation technology of postharvest kiwifruit is important for the industrial development and prosperity. Therefore, in this paper, the researches on kiwifruit preservation were summarized from three aspects including biological preservation technology, physical preservation technology and chemical preservation technology, and the researches on biological preservation technology of postharvest kiwifruit in recent years were mainly reviewed from two aspects including natural extract preservation technology and microbial preservation technology, finally the development trends of kiwifruit preservation technology in the future were prospected, hoping to provide a theoretical basis for the further development of kiwifruit preservation technologies.
