Abstract

A biography of fiction writer Lisa See is presented. See was born on February 18, 1955 in Paris, France to Carolyn Laws and Richard See, who were American students studying in France at the time. She graduated in 1979 from Loyola Marymount University with a major she created in modern Greek studies. Her first book is "On Gold Mountain: The One-Hundred-Year Odyssey of My Chinese-American Family." Her other works include "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan," "Peony in Love," and "Shanghai Girls."
