Abstract

The impact of roughness on annular plate with MHD using micropolar fluid is examined. The Reynolds equation is obtained using of Eringen theory along with Christensen theory in the presence of magnetic field. The importance of surface roughness, MHD and micropolar fluid is analyzed. The numerical results are presented in terms of dimensionless pressure, load carrying capacity and time. From the results, the influence of micropolar fluid and electrically conducting fluid provides an increase in load carrying capacity further it delays the time than that of the Newtonian case.
