Research Progress in Preparation and Properties of Antibacterial Polypropylene Properties.

In order to optimize the preparation method of antibacterial polypropylene materials and improve the performance of antibacterial polypropylene, so that it has potential application in daily life. The preparation conditions of typical antibacterial polypropylene materials were summarized from melt blending, impregnation and coating methods. The research progress on the performance improvement of antibacterial polypropylene was introduced from the aspects of grafting chemical modification, block chemical modification and crosslinking chemical modification. The application of antibacterial polypropylene in household appliance industry, packaging industry and medical biomaterials in recent years was summarized. The research show that different preparation methods and chemical modification have different effects on the properties of antibacterial polypropylene. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
