Abstract
- The article offer narratives from three elementary educators navigating literacy teaching in schools impacted by third-grade reading laws. It looks at how elementary literacy teachers define, talk about, and interact with student literacies. It also highlights the challenges and pressures teachers experience when teaching young students in the context of the third-grade reading laws.
