Abstract: The article presents study on YAP/TAZ activity which prevents tissue senescence and aging by controlling cGAS/STING in stromal cells. Topics include information on induction of cell senescence; key challenge is the identification of pathways normally suppressing senescence; and structural and functional decline of ageing tissues to attenuated function of YAP/TAZ.
