Abstract

In the current work, the optical nonlinearities and optical limiting behaviors for mixture of two organic laser dyes: Rhoda mine B (RB) and Methyl violet (10B) dissolved in ethanol solvent at concentration (10<superscript>−6</superscript>) M, have been measured utilizing Z-Scan setup. The measurement was completed using continuous wave(CW) diode pump solid state laser at wavelength(457 nm) and power (84mW).The closed-case Z-scans of all samples give self-defocousing phenomena. The consequences of the open-case of all samples give two photon absorbtion. Non-linear optical properties of mixture dye is larger than those for single dyes. The results revealed that all samples can be a good candidate for optoelectronic and photonic applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
