Time counts in animal ecology.

The Sidnie Manton Award has recognised ECR excellence in research in multiple areas of animal ecology, including computer vision (Weinstein, 2018), macroimmunology (Becker et al., 2020) and most recently on animal-vectored spatial ecosystem subsidies (Ellis-Soto et al., 2021). Time is of the essence in ecology.
