Abstract

The article presents the discussion on Unit-based councils (UBCs) being a viable way to advance shared governance. Topics include leadership being tasked with advising and supporting council activities as a nuanced way for decision making at the front-line level; and team champions therefore recommending to assist in spreading and promoting the UBC as well.
