Scale-Invariant Feature Transform Improvement for Problems of Recognition of Similar Images.

The study was conducted on several algorithms for determining similar images. Scale-invariant feature transform algorithm was taken as the main algorithm relative to which the change in performance indicators was calculated. The new algorithm is obtained by upgrading the main algorithm with the idea of comparing images using perceptual hashing. The analysis of the results was carried out and conclusions were drawn about the operation of the new algorithm, as well as limitations on its application. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
