Abstract

The current high‐frequency LTPS LCD panel cannot reach the low‐frequency specification of less than 30Hz display. We evaluated the leakage current & flicker value correspondence relationship through a simplified model, then we measured the time‐brightness curve at 15Hz display and found brightness change in one frame includes three different stages. Therefore, effective measures are proposed to improve image flicker performance. Finally, a 6.58‐inch FHD LTPS‐LCD with 15~165Hz display was achieved without optimization of pixel TFT leakage current. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
