Abstract
- In recent years, train-to-train communication has become an emerging technology and especially, an urgent need in the field of urban rail transit. But in the subway, due to the limited space, the electromagnetic wave propagation is seriously affected by the multipath fading, which is directly related to the operation safety of the urban rail transit. To solve this problem, this paper conducts the research on mitigating the multipath fading of direct train-to-train communication under the subway environment. Firstly, the appropriate communication distance and frequency band are selected to adapt to the actual tunnel environment. Secondly, a millimeter-wave communication device structure that uses three-antenna technology to mitigate multipath fading is designed. Then, the combination of Pre/Post-Rake technology and multi-antenna algorithm is proposed to reduce the bit error rate to meet the railway communication standard. Finally, the millimeter-wave path loss model is used to simulate and verify the error characteristics of the improved rake receiver. The simulation results show that the rake receiver can effectively mitigate the influence of multipath fading and improve the reliability and security of urban rail communication.
