Abstract
- The article discusses biomedical approach to illness and disorders, and risk assessment/management practices have long dominated the delivery of mental health services. While there are numerous and widely used psychotherapeutic approaches, pharmacological treatment either alone or simultaneous with psychological therapies, remain the basis of treatment.
