Abstract

In the title compound, two tert-butyl groups replace the two hydrogen atoms at the C2 and C3 positions of the cyclohexadiene, respectively, and the electrophilic ester group replaces the hydrogen atom at the benzene ring position, as shown in the figure. Since all hydrogen atoms in this structure are not conformational isomers, * is used to distinguish all hydrogen atoms. [Extracted from the article]
