Abstract
- The theoretical prediction of the mechanical behavior of fibrous materials for medicine in different environments is of great scientific interest. The deformation mechanisms under loading of biopolymer electrospun fibrous materials differ significantly in dependence on the phase state of the medium, namely, liquid state, gaseous state, or at their interface. In this paper, the influence of various mediums on the mechanical behavior of fibrous materials based on poly‐3‐hydroxybutyrate under tension is examined. The oxidative stress (ozone treatment) and the incorporation of low concentrations of modifying additives (complexes of tetraphenyl‐porphyrin with Zn) are proposed as the most effective methods of directed control of stress‐related characteristics without a negative effect on the functional properties of medical materials.
