Abstract

This article focuses on a factor analytic study, which discusses therapeutic facilitativeness as a dimension of effective living. Several recent studies have focused on the factorial nature of the level of functioning dimension in human relationships. Factor analytic procedures had been utilized to analyze the structure of the correlation matrices derived from data on the relationships among the various "core conditions" of empathy, respect, genuineness, and concreteness. It has been experienced by the psychologists that high functioning people are people who operate successfully and productively in many areas of life. The study mentioned here presents data which bear on the validity of this assertion.
