EXPERIMENTAL VARIATION OF THE MODE OF REPRODUCTION OF THE BENDER GESTALT STIMULI.

The article discusses experimental variation of the mode of reproduction of the Bender Gestalt stimuli. Distortions in the reproduction of the gestalten of the Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test should be, as much as possible, a function of psychological events within the individual, with minimal distortion attributable to factors external to the subject. It is suggested that the usual procedure with this test may, in and of itself, influence the subject's capacity to reproduce the designs accurately. A complex analysis of variance was computed on the difference scores to determine the influence on the size of the drawn figures of the conditions of administration, intelligence, sex, and their interaction.
