Electrification Technique of a Guidewire to Assist in Crossing Iliac Occlusion.

The article presents a case study of a 68-year-old man with bilateral claudication of lower extremities, classified as Rutherford stage 4. Topics include doppler ultrasonography showing diminished distal blood flow in both lower extremities from the superficial femoral artery to the popliteal artery; and patient being considered at high risk for perioperative morbidity and mortality not suitable for aortofemoral bypass surgery.
