Abstract
- The Bank Policy Institute and the Financial Services Forumurged the SEC to narrow the proposal's scope, and to let anyguidance by bank regulators preempt rules written by theSEC. Specifically, they askedthe SEC to significantly curtail any "scenario analysis"requirements, arguing that bank regulators will likely soonadd them, and saying that complying with the SEC's proposalwould likely require banks to disclose sensitive detailsrelated to those exercises.
