Abstract

The article discusses the analysis of on-disc extra features, the DVD editions of the feature films "Blood Simple", "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" and "Incident at Loch Ness". It further discusses concept of the commentary track emerged on an earlier home video format; 1933 "King Kong" commentary was provided by film historian Ronald Haver, and was an experiment in crafting a scene-specific lecture to accompany the film; "From Russia with Love" directed by Terrence Young.
