Abstract
- The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has changed the education sector landscape especially in the educational innovation. Various technologies have been integrated in variety of educational fields and Augmented Reality Technology is one of them. One of the courses offered in the Construction Technology at Vocational College is Building Construction I and II. This course requires students to understand and master the knowledge regarding the processes of construction at the construction site. Therefore, a learning module based on AR technology has been developed to help the students to visualize construction processes at the construction site. This module integrity and validity based on the experts and students view was carried out to assess the construction module quality and multimedia elements that have been applied in this module. The quantitative study involves vocational college students and experts in the sector of construction technology and multimedia as respondents. Two instruments were used in the data collection such as questionnaires and check lists. The findings of this study indicates that the interactive modules and multimedia elements integrity and validity is at a high level based on the expert views. In conclusion, the interactive module based on Augmented Reality Technology for this Building Construction II course is suitable and the module content has been developed to meet the needs of students and lecturers. The development of this module is expected to improve students' visualization skills and enable them to have good graphic communication skills as well as problem-solving skills.
