Abstract

This article highlights the various ways in which libraries are using gamification as motivation tools for acquiring research skills, replete with micro-credentials such as badges for completion of modules or levels. With the tools available, why not gamify the library experience and Having students participate in hands-on activities gives them a basic understanding of how the library works, making it easier for students to use library resources as assignment deadlines approach.
