Abstract

For effective childcare, identifying challenges and exploring the solutions to those challenges is critical. This study explores the different challenges of childcare in child care institutions and its solutions from caregivers' perspectives. The researcher uses a basic interpretive design approach and selects 39 respondents by purposive sampling, and uses semi‐structured interviews. The findings indicate need for separate institutions for different categories of children and trained and professional caregivers, balancing gender engagement, the necessity for establishing separate institutional care for differently able children, need for effective implementation of foster care and sponsorship and need to work with families for effective children's restoration.
