- The article provides an overview on women in politics in then U.S. Topics include the Federal Elections Campaign Act current position on allowing candidates to pay for child care for their children using campaign funds; the take of Federal Elections Commission on campaigns for elected office; and the U.S. Supreme Court case Buckley v. Valeo on campaign finance.
