Organization Redux: Net Snippets.

This article explains some of the features of the Net Snippets products offered by Net Snippets Ltd. While there is a great deal of similarity between Onfolio and Net Snippets, the latter had additional useful features. One a user download Net Snippets and install it on the computer, a toolbar and an additional icon appear in the browser. The icon in the toolbar looks like a small piece of paper with three red dots above it; this icon opens Net Snippets as a sidebar on the left of the browser screen. Users can also access all the functions of the toolbar using the Net Snippets sidebar. Additionally, a Net Snippets box appears in the system tray. Net Snippets gives users the ability to create a bibliography from materials with the click of a button. Net Snippets takes all information and prepares a report for the user, complete with graphics and a table of contents. One more advantage of using Net Snippets is that the information is stored directly into the file system; the default is My Documents/My Snippets. All HTML files are stored in standard HTML format; all other documents in their original format. This allows users to access and view information at any time, without having to rely on any application--including Net Snippets.
