Abstract

In this paper, we propose a compression-based encryption technique which is an advanced technique of tight frame encryption and indirect encryption techniques. The proposed approach is applied on ASCII Text code which does compression and at the same time encryption is performed. It divides plain text into blocks of different sizes 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 bytes. Further, it undergoes rounds where in each round one byte is compressed at the same time and its preceding seven bytes participate in encryption. It takes a block as input and yields resultant block of size seven bytes. The results depict that the proposed approach does more compression and encryption by generating optimal key sizes in experiments carried out in the investigation. Considering implementation issues, the proposed one is a feasible method to implement in all platforms without requiring additional computation and information and does compression and encryption on plain text data simultaneously at great pace.
