(Bloomberg) -- Tunisia will begin gradually reducing food and energy subsidies in 2023, its trade minister said, as the cash-strapped North African nation readies for fresh talks with the International Monetary Fund. Speaking at the same event, Finance Minister Sihem Boughdiri said Tunisia expects to agree during the next few days on resuming talks with the IMF on an economic rescue package.
