South Korea's New President Gets Boost in Big Election Win.

- (Bloomberg) -- South Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol'sconservative party is on path for a decisive victory inelections for leaders of major cities and provinces, ajoint exit poll showed, in a show of support for hispolicies coming just three weeks after he took office. "The "PPP's victory would definitely help Yoon to pushfor his policies, but it does has its limits", said LeeJunhan, a political science professor at Incheonuniversity. The Democratic Party won the races in the two biggestcities four years ago but the former mayor of Busan, OhKeo-don, was forced out for sexually assaulting femaleemployees while Park Won-soon, the mayor of Seoul,committed suicide in 2020 when an investigation wasclosing in on him for sexually harassing his staffmembers.
