Abstract

Now-a-days people are working recklessly, busy with their hectic schedule and working for long hours in order to live happy. The road accidents today occur due to either drowsiness or fatigue of the driver. There are methods to detect drowsiness of the driver and to prevent accidents. This paper explains the method using Physiological Measurement. The human physiological phenomenon is based on accuracy. It can also be used but is expensive and difficult to implement. This paper proposes a model for detecting the drowsiness of the driver by implementing the technology that provides high security to the driver and people around using OpenCV and image processing by detecting face and eye plots of the driver using the software and alerting them when they are drowsy and fatigue. This system will detect drowsiness of the driver by implementing the technology that provides high security to the driver and people around using OpenCV and image processing by detecting face and eye plots of the driver using the software and alerting them when they are drowsy and fatigue.
