Abstract
- The electronic structures and absorption spectra of InAs<subscript>1â' x </subscript>N<subscript> x </subscript> nanowires in the magnetic field are calculated via the combination of effective-mass theory and band anticrossing model, and the results exhibit the degenerate electron and hole states will be split by the magnetic field, which leads to the separation of Ď <superscript>+</superscript> and Ď <superscript>â'</superscript> absorption spectra. Moreover, the calculations demonstrate the exciton g factor g <subscript>ex</subscript> can undergo the transition from negative to positive with the size increasing, and g <subscript>ex</subscript> is almost independent of the magnetic field, while decreasing slightly by enhancing the nitrogen content of InAs<subscript>1â' x </subscript>N<subscript> x </subscript> nanowires.
