Abstract

Blindness of the cornea is the major cause of blindness globally. Many approaches and strategies have been developed to replace or regenerate damaged cornea. Different biomaterials like biopolymeric hydrogels with excellent mechanical & physical properties have been used for the regeneration of corneal tissue.
