An editorial is presented on interventions and policy approaches to promote equity in breastfeeding. Topics include high-quality and equitable support for all women who want to breastfeed is a sound social investment; and methodological approaches exemplified by the use of diverse qualitative and quantitative designs, mixed-methods, economic analyses, and implementation science perspectives.
