CONFERENCE ON RURAL SOCIAL CHANGE IN DENMARK.

This article presents information on the conference on rural social change in Denmark. Social-Political Association in Denmark organized a conference on Rural Social Change in Hindsgavl. Participants from Sweden and Norway were present. Professor A. Steensberg, Copenhagen, gave an introductory speech on the changes in rural life. After lectures on new conditions for agriculture, location of industry, psychological and sociological consequences of environmental changes, the child in the countryside and the planned society, these topics were discussed in working groups.
