The Moving Sidewalk.

The article discusses some decisive experiences of its author Donald Revell. His experience, a refraction of class, originated and continues in a border region between writing and the class-fantasies of language. Sometimes complementary, sometimes violently conflicted, these fantasies subjugate my sense of myself to local histories. At times simultaneous, at times mechanically sequential, the fantasies also isolate my life from the life of the times. The article adds that the author has traversed these particular delusions alone.
