Research progress on recycling of potato protein wastewater and application in animal production.

Potato protein wastewater is produced by potato starch production. The wastewater has a large discharge, and is rich in organic matter such as protein and sugar. Most starch production enterprises directly discharge the wastewater to the sewage treatment plant, which not only increases the economic burden of enterprises, but also wastes resources in the wastewater. Therefore, the resource utilization of potato protein wastewater has practical significance to protect the environment, save resources and increase economic benefits of enterprises. The paper reviews the current situation of potato protein wastewater resource recycling and its application in animal production, in order to provide a reference for future research directions of potato protein wastewater.
