Abstract
- The article presents a personal profile of Alexander Rzewuski, a renowned researcher of radiology. The article highlights his contribution to the development of radiology in Switzerland. He was born in Zabrze, Poland. After completing his graduation he followed his doctor's advice and, in 1879, took a trip to Davos, to search for a possible treatment of the serious asthma condition which he had been suffering for years.
